Feel good, take care...

B 1 - Thriving in the Third Stage of Life

In this four week program, we will review what Psychologists have discovered about healthy aging and compare our own personal experiences with their insights. This is a very participatory program involving short lectures and plenty of discussion. The goal will be to have new insights and plans that will increase the likelihood of tranquillity, wisdom and joy.

About the instructor:

Dr. Shaun Murphy PhD

Shaun is a recently retired Organizational Psychologist with a life-long interest in the Psychology of Healthy Ageing. He wrote his doctoral dissertation at the University of Toronto (a long time ago!) on "The Benefits of Mentoring to the Mentors Themselves" and is the co-author of two successful business books. He is eager to share what he has learned about maintaining a healthy mind in the third stage of life and advises us to 'stay curious, stay involved'.
