All ukulele lessons will include:

M 0 Beginner's Ukulele
Goal:
-
Learn at least one song each lesson

Learn to tune the ukulele

Learn a few things about the ukulele, some history, the parts of the ukulele, including the names of the strings

Learn how to restring your ukulele
Pre-requisite: No previous ukulele experience required
Class limit: Max. 8
Class runs 12:00-1:00 once a week (Friday) for 8 weeks

1. A ukulele in the C6 tuning with preferably a low G
2. A ukulele tuner

M 1 Intermediate Ukulele
Goal:
1. To learn at least two songs each week
2. Learn some minor chords: am, em, dm, bm. Learn more major chords: including working on the Bb chord.
Prerequisites:
A. Know basic chords: C, G, D, F
B. Be able to tune your ukulele: C6 tuning (G C E A)
Class limit: Max. 8
Class runs 9:30-10:30 once a week (Friday) for 8 weeks

M 2 Advanced Ukulele
Goal:
1: To color your music with 7th chords, diminished chords
2. Work on fingerpicking
Prerequisite: Know the basic chords and their relative minors
Class limit: Max. 8
Class runs 10:45-11:45 once a week (Friday) for 8 weeks

Fine Arts
A 6 Calligraphy
Over the 10 weeks, the Italic hand will be taught in detail with a section on handwriting improvement worked for those who want it. This is a beginners' course but adjusted to the levels of participants.
Pre-requisite: None
Class limit: 10
Class runs 11:15 - 1:15 once a week (Thursday) for 10 weeks

8 1/2 x 11 or larger notebook to practice and $4 to purchase a calligraphy pen from the instructor

A 8 Introduction to Drawing
This is a basic introduction to drawing for beginners and everyone who wants to explore the classic approach to artistic impression. Students will learn to focus on still life and related drawing techniques. He/she will be introduced to a range of techniques and skills. They will explore the drawing process from the beginning to the final rendition.
The course complexity is adjusted to the participant's level.

M7 Intermediate Piano Appreciation Group
A relaxed and informal group where you can play and share your love of piano.
Pre-requisite: Must be able to read music
What to bring: Any piano pieces you want to play!

Students will learn techniques (scales, triads) and can choose their own pieces to play.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of piano, no beginner's please. Need to have a piano at home to practice on.
