IP1 - More iPad Fun!

This iPad course is for those iPad users who want to review the basics and then learn some of the new and exciting features and enhancements that have been introduced in the last couple of years. The focus will be on features that will help you get the most enjoyment out of your iPad.

What to bring to class:  Your iPad and your Apple ID and Password

If you don't know your Apple ID you will need to go to a dealer (such as the Apple Store) and recover the ID.  Your email application installed on your iPad and signed in prior to class. 


Class limit:  8
Class runs 9:00 - 11:00 once a week (Thursday) for 8 weeks.


Cost: $80

This iPhone course is for those iPhone users who want to review the basics and then learn some of the new and exciting features and enhancements that have been introduced in the last couple of years. The focus will be on features that will help you get the most enjoyment out of your iPhone.

C 7 Spreadsheets for Daily Life

 Learn to use spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for daily practical use. Topics will include familiarization, navigating/viewing/editing/creating spreadsheets, formatting, using formulas and functions, filtering and sorting data, coordinating multiple worksheets, and printing. Exercises and samples will include event planning, billing, expense tracking, and budgeting.

 

Prerequisites:

·    For class attendance: Basic Windows computer skills (such as C1 Desktop Basics course).

 

·    For homework / own use: Laptop or desktop with Microsoft Excel 2007 or later, or Google Chrome. (In class you will use a computer lab PC with Windows 10 and Excel 2013.)

 

 Level: Beginner 

 

Class limit: 8

 

Class runs 1:30-3:30 pm–once a week (Thursday) for 8 weeks.

What to bring to class: 1 flash/memory stick to store your work
